[How To] Play Borderlands 2 LAN Online Tutorial (Tunngle Optional)
Borderlands 2 LAN works flawlessly. Whether you are doing a real LAN, or using your favorite VPN gaming program to do LAN online, it will work. See the video for more proof, using Tunngle as an example.
1) I can’t see any games, or my friends can’t see me?
Answer: It really helps to port forward udp 11155 if using tunngle.
2) Do I really need to port forward?
Answer: Is there any negatives to port forwarding? If not being able to see more than 10 games or host a game is a negative, then by all means, don’t port forward.
3) I don’t see that many games, why is that?
Answer: It could be a number of things. Maybe games are full and you don’t see them, or people think they are hosting properly, but their firewall/ports are preventing you from seeing their game.
Some people say that if people are way above in levels than you, you can’t join their game. That is a pile of crap. See the cooptimus FAQ below for more answers you are seeking:
